UAE Employment Visa & Work Permit — Handled End to End

Get your employees a UAE employment visa, work visa renewals, and work permits — we handle all UAE visa applications. With an employment residence visa, expats can secure a job and stay in the UAE, open bank accounts, get a driving licence and sponsor family. The application process can be complicated — which is exactly why our PRO team runs it for you.

The Phases of an Employment Visa

First comes the employment entry permit — issued to foreign workers allowing them to enter the UAE, a temporary pass until residency. Upon arrival it converts to the 2-year employment residency visa after medical fitness testing, Emirates ID biometrics, health insurance and passport stamping — GDRFA won't stamp a visa without an active health insurance policy in place, so we arrange that alongside everything else. Employees transferred from a company branch outside the UAE need an intra-company transfer visa instead — we process both. The UAE’s new Work Bundle platform has cut the process from 15 steps to 5, and with documents ready, most applications complete in 7-10 working days.

What It Costs

A standard two-year UAE employment visa runs AED 8,000 all-in — the government, medical and Emirates ID charges, plus our fee on top. We're happy to show you the real breakdown, cost by cost, so you always know what's government cost and what's ours — and for companies hiring at volume, our fee flexes lower per visa. We quote one fixed all-in number before anything starts.

Already Running a UAE Company? We’ll Be Your Visa Department

If your company is already up and running and you simply need someone to handle the visas — new hires, renewals, cancellations, dependants — that’s exactly what we do for dozens of UAE companies. And our pricing model is deliberately different: you pay the real government charges at cost, plus one service fee on top — and we show you the actual breakdown, government receipt by government receipt. That fee flexes lower the more hiring you send our way. No padded "packages", no mystery totals. Most companies discover they’ve been overpaying their previous PRO by more than our entire fee. Documents & Requirements

A valid job offer from a UAE employer, valid passport (6+ months) with white-background photos, the MOHRE-approved offer letter and employment contract, the sponsoring company’s trade licence and establishment card — and for skilled job categories, attested academic certificates. That last one trips up most applicants: our attestation service covers 105+ countries with a quote within the hour, so your degree is UAE-ready before the visa clock starts.

Contracts, WPS & Transparent Pricing

A visa on its own doesn't let you pay someone legally — so we also prepare your MOHRE-compliant employment contract, ready to sign alongside the offer, and register you for the Wages Protection System (WPS), the UAE's mandatory system for paying staff salaries, plus labour cards, offer letters and the day-to-day paperwork that comes with having employees. And across every visa, contract and WPS setup, the pricing works the same way: you pay the real government and bank charges, plus one small service fee on top — with the actual breakdown shown, cost by cost. No bundled "packages" that hide the markup, whether it's one visa or fifty.

Renewals — Don’t Burn the Grace Period

Work visa renewal follows clear steps: inform your employer, pass a medical test at an authorized center, renew your Emirates ID with biometrics, then submit for stamping. You typically get a 28-day grace period after expiry — beyond that, fines accumulate and prolonged overstay risks legal consequences up to deportation. Our renewal tracking makes sure our clients never see any of it.

Thinking Bigger Than One Visa?

If your salary reaches AED 30,000+ with a degree, you may skip the employment visa entirely and qualify for the 10-year Golden Visa — check in 60 seconds with our free eligibility tool. Bringing family? We plan family visas alongside yours. Not sure which route fits? The UAE Visa Finder maps it in four questions.

FAQ

Employment Visa Questions, Answered

How much does a UAE work visa cost?
A standard two-year UAE work visa currently runs AED 8,000 all-in, covering the government, medical and Emirates ID costs plus our fee — with the real breakdown shown to you on request. For companies hiring at volume, that fee flexes lower. You receive one fixed all-in quote before we start.
What do I need to get a UAE employment visa?
A valid job offer from a UAE employer, passing the required medical tests, and submitting the necessary documents for MOHRE approval. Skilled job categories also require attested academic certificates — we handle the attestation too.
How long does the employment visa process take?
Most employment visa applications complete within 7-10 working days once documents are ready, depending on medical fitness results and Emirates ID issuance.
What happens if I don't renew my work visa on time?
You typically get a 28-day grace period after expiry. Beyond that, fines accumulate and continued overstay can mean legal issues up to deportation. Our renewal tracking means our clients never get there.
Can my wife work in the UAE on my sponsorship?
Yes — with proper authorization, a spouse can work in the UAE on the partner's sponsorship visa by applying for a work permit and obtaining approval from the relevant authorities.
What is an intra-company transfer visa?
Employees transferred to the UAE from a company branch outside the UAE need an intra-company transfer visa rather than a standard employment visa — we process both.
Good to Know

Employment Visa — The Details That Matter

Do I need to appear in person?
Yes — unlike some of our services, an employment visa needs two in-person steps: the medical fitness test and Emirates ID biometrics (fingerprints and photo). Everything else — MOHRE approvals, entry permit, stamping — we handle without you needing to visit a government office.
How does payment work?
One fixed quote upfront covering government fees, medical charges and Emirates ID costs, with an official receipt for your records. No department-by-department surprises.
What's the difference between an entry permit and a residence visa?
The entry permit is your temporary pass to enter the UAE before your paperwork is finalised. Once you're inside and complete your medical test and Emirates ID, it converts into the 2-year employment residence visa that lets you live and work long-term.
Do I need health insurance for my employment visa?
Yes — it's a GDRFA requirement, not optional. Your residence visa can't be stamped without an active health insurance policy in place. We arrange it alongside the rest of your paperwork, so it's ready before your stamping appointment.
Can you also handle cancellations and visa transfers?
Yes — cancelling an employee's visa when they leave, transferring sponsorship between companies, or converting a visit visa into an employment visa are all part of our day-to-day PRO work.
Do you also handle employment contracts and WPS salary setup?
Yes — we prepare the MOHRE-compliant employment contract alongside the visa, and register your company for WPS (Wages Protection System), the UAE's mandatory electronic system for paying staff salaries. Same pricing principle applies: real government and bank charges, plus one small service fee, breakdown shown.
