UAE Corporate Tax applies at 9% on taxable profit above AED 375,000, with 0% below that threshold. The rate is the part everyone knows. The part that catches companies out is that registration and filing are mandatory regardless of profit — a dormant holding company with no income still has to register and still has to file.
Free zone companies are not automatically exempt either. A Qualifying Free Zone Person can pay 0% on qualifying income, but the status has conditions attached, and losing it is usually discovered long after the fact. Getting the assessment right at the start is far cheaper than correcting it later.
Penalties for late registration or filing are real and administrative — they do not care whether you owed tax. That is why we treat CT as part of the monthly routine rather than an annual scramble: the books stay current, the position is known, and the return is a formality by the time it is due.
Pricing for all of this sits with our fixed monthly accounting packages — one price by transaction volume, nothing billed by the hour.
