A few of the questions people ask before making the move.

Do I need to close my existing company before moving to Dubai?
Not necessarily. The roadmap includes a separate step for deciding what happens to an existing company. Depending on your situation, you may keep it, restructure it, wind it down or move activity to a UAE company. Get advice on the home-country tax consequences before making that decision.
Can I set up the UAE company remotely?
For many UAE free zone setups, the company application can be handled remotely. The exact process depends on the free zone, activity and your circumstances. Residency is a separate process and normally requires you to enter the UAE for the required medical and Emirates ID steps.
How many residency visas can I get?
The number of visas depends on the company licence and package. The roadmap's assessment lets you indicate a partner and children so the estimated setup can reflect your family situation.
Do I have to live in Dubai all year?
Owning a UAE company or residency visa does not by itself answer every tax-residency question. Your days in the UAE, your home country's rules and your personal circumstances all matter, so confirm the relevant tax-residency requirements for both jurisdictions.
Can you help after the company and residency are set up?
Yes. EBS can continue supporting you with in-house accounting and introductions to trusted partners for areas such as property and insurance, as well as support for Golden Visa and other services when you are ready.
